Just realised in Genesis 3:21 that “The Lord God made clothing out of skins for Adam and his wife, and he clothed them”. Despite our shame and disobedience that can actually be our own fault, God both cares and provides.
Might also be worth noting that this is the first instance in the Bible in which the sin of a person is commuted to the death of an animal. That quote there doesn’t say ‘skin’ on accident. A sacrifice was made, a life was lost to cover the sin of Adam and Eve, right there in the Garden.
