From the Desk of the Editor...

A blog on science, politics, religion, music, and pretty much whatever else strikes my fancy. First time guests may want to read this page to get an idea on who I am. Then read this one to get an idea on how I view blogging and informal writing in general.

Currently based in Springfield, MA; attending school in Greenfield to get moving toward an Astrophysics degree and looking into freelance writing. First step: a frequently-updated column on the Examiner that you should check out.

That, and where we actually fall on the scale. If we use IQ as the determining factor, roughly 80% of the people on the planet are in a block only 20 numbers wide (90-110). Anyone in the top end of that block looks at most people as being stupid - yet, someone with an IQ in the 140’s (genius level doesn’t start until 135) is as far above the 110 person as the 110 person is above Forrest Gump (78, if I remember correctly). This is why so many people outside the 90-110 range have such a hard time relating to others.
